    Horrible service! We bought flooring here, but then had several delays before someone actually showed up to install the floor. Vic, the owner-salesman we dealt with, repeatedly told us an installer was coming at a certain day and time, only to tell us [when we called to report the installer didn’t show up!] that the guys couldn’t make it because of being behind on a job, having vehicle problems, was sick, etc... The installer that finally did show up advised us it was okay to lay the tiles over the old flooring, saying it was easier than patching the glue tears on the base flooring underneath. He laid the tiles and spacers, and his son put the grout down, then “cleaned up” by repeatedly dipping a rag in grout-muddy water and wiping it on the floor, only changing out the water twice, at my request. They left a film of grout dirt on the entire floor for me to have to scrub off. We have called Vic at The Flooring Store over NINE times since, asking when someone is going to be out to finish the job; specifically, putting the trim on, especially between tile and carpeted area. For the first five times, we were told he would call back. We waited several business days before calling again, only to be told he didn’t have anyone available, or he was waiting to hear from a guy, or that he was going to come out the next day himself, but he never did. Finally, after multiple requests, he sent a fellow out. The first installer had already purchased the trim on our dime, so it was here waiting for this next installer. He came out and found the trim wouldn’t snap into the track because the floor was now too high for the trim to reach. He was about to install, under the edge of the carpet, a block of wood that he had brought along, in attempt to have something to glue the trim to, when my husband pointed out it would make the carpet higher than the kitchen floor and become a tripping hazard. He announced he didn’t know how to fix it and only came because Vic asked him to, and he left, *taking with him the trim we had already paid for*! Again we were calling Vic only to notice our calls weren’t being answered unless we blocked our identity and number first. Again and again Vic lied to us, saying someone would come fix the problem of the trim, including saying he and his Dad would come out themselves, but never coming, never calling back when promised, and never finishing the job that I stupidly paid for before completion, trusting Vic to keep his word (lesson learned on my part!) The floor was installed 7 months ago and still we’ve had no word from Vic for the past 4 months. Terrible, dishonest “service”. It was only until after all this that I saw reviews online from others stating that Vic did the same thing to other customers: putting them off over and over until they gave up and stopped calling. NOT IMPRESSED!
